I picked up a Super Satellite cabinet that was shipped to me without any sort of power cable in the box, which left me wondering if the guy ever had one in the first place.  Since the jack is really an AC plug, I was able to use an extension cord to power it up, but I still want to know what the standard power cable is supposed to be!!!  Here's a another one on Ebay right now:

Type NEMA 5-15, which is to say a standard extension cord.

james

Yeah, that's what I've been using.  Just wondering what the original actually looked like when you bought the piano -- you don't run across many NEMA 5-15 extension cords with a round female end these days!

P.S. I picked up a nice black extension cord for $7.99.  That made me feel a little better.

Be sure not to look at mine then. Just walk away.

ElBeeba

how much did you pay for yours rob?  I can buy some from some guy, but he wants $350.  That seems like too much to me, but maybe you guys would know better.

Too late. It was on my Ebay Watch List.  I almost started to cry.  My wife is blaming our financial crisis this month on the Super Satellite, so now I'm just trying to rationalize.  It has a 1/4" input.  It has a 1/4" input.  It has a 1/4" input. :|

BTW, now that you got the the Super Satellite deal of the century (you seem to be at the epicenter of the Amazing Rhodes Deal Cosmos), let us know how you get the input happening.  That's the one thing I was wondering about with this one!

Just to pour salt on James (sorry d00d), I got it for $24.99 + $80 shipping.

ElBeeba

what is a normal price for a pair of super satellite speaks?

james

Well, Rob got the master for $25 and I got the slave for $190...that makes $215?  :D

I'd guess $500 for a pair in good condition would be realistic in the US.  The only problem with mine is that the tolex has taken a bit of a beating.
