i'm refurbishing a '74 fender rhodes 88 (super satellite)
the original preamp was kaput in one channel, so i decided to rebuild a whole new one from scratch. that task is done and it works great, however i want to custom mount my mods on the name rail (using different knobs, LEDs, etc).

for the sake of keeping the original parts intact, i would rather not start cutting on my namerail. because afterall, i've been known to get a little "dremel-happy" and end up with swiss cheese looking hunk of metal.

does anyone have/know of anywhere to procure an "aftermarket" or replacement blank namerail for the 88? by blank i mean, no holes.

thanks

Al

"You want WHAT for that '74 Rhodes Super Satellite w/ original speakers? $500?! Will you take a personal check?"

I don't think you will find that (I've never seen one at least), but you could adopt the mark II approach. Make a window cutout in your existing namerail, and fill it with a blank plate drilled to meet your needs.
