Anyone know about accelerated rail punchings?

The one on the right side.  From what I've read, you point the side that's cut  toward the keys and they redistribute weight.  Obviously, i have no clue what I'm talking about.  I'm more interested in getting other peoples opinions or experiences with them.

Also, take a gander at these.  Anyone ever try them? will they work with a Rhodes? Are they the same dimensions?

I have heard of them, and in theory, they should do what they say.I have never tried them, and yes, they should fit a Rhodes BUT.... you will be messing with the key height and leveling which is a big job......also the felt punchings should be on top of the paper ones but lazy factory workers left the paper on top usually..or they were told to....
