Hi there,

When I touch my suitcase (MK2 '81) tone sliders I get a hum..
I'm not even sliding them.
Just barely touching them results in hum..

any idea's  ?

thanks in advance.

A little contact cleaner through a nozzle into the sliders wouldn't hurt.  Is there heavy static when you slide them while playing?

Also, you do have the actual flat "knobs" on them and they're not the bare metal yes?

yes I do have the "knobs"..
that's why i thought it was weird because i'm not touching any metal.
it's the sort of noise you would get touching one end of a jack when plugged
into an amp.

they do crackle a little when sliding them..
guess i'll try the contact cleaner to see if it helps..

thanks.
