Slight vibrato even when vibrato is turned off

Hey there,
My restoration of my 1979 88 key suitcase is coming along great.  However, I notice that there is a very slight vibrato (which responds to the speed and intensity controls) even when the vibrato switch is off.  Has anyone seen this before, or have any ideas why it is occurring?  Issue in the pre-amp?  Power-amp?
Thanks.

in some suitcases
the "vibrato" never completely switches off
take a look at this:

Hah!  Great find!

I had made a post to this problem years ago, and never found a solution.  Sitting at a suitcase 73 from 1980, I could "swear I heard the faintest vibrato when off."

No one had a solution until Vintage Vibe I guess!  Great work by them!
