Stereo chorus from a Roland JC-55 or JC-77?

Will a Roland JC-55 or JC-77 produce a good stereo chorus effect for home use?  It looks like these small Roland JCs only have one amp (vs. two for the JC-90, 120 and higher) but the Rhodes is only producing one signal in the first place, so the 55 or 77 look like they could work - ??  Are there any issues with the speaker size (2x8" or 2x10") - bass, power-handling capacity, etc.?

Hi :)

I've owned a JC 77 for a couple of months, and the chorus was one one of my favorite feature on it, even if i didn't compare to a JC 120...It seemed to be stereo, i mean it didn't sound as if i had pluged my rhodes on a chorus pedal; providing a wider sound image, projection that is hard to describe...

I sold it because i needed to play it loud not to hear the noise , that is a bit anoying for home use, isn't it :? ?
Meanwhile, at that level, it sounded good with my piano, perhaps a bit harsh, too bright.

I have played all of my Rhodes pianos through my venerable JC-120 for years. The few times that it has been out of commission, I use a 2X10 Polytone MaxiBrute with a stereo chorus, but it somehow doesn't compare to the JC. It is also loud enough for pretty big rooms...if I need more volume, I bring my own mixer and mike the amp with two SM57s and provide a stereo feed to the house. Really kicks.
Just get the real thing...
