hi guys
finally here's the  page  about the rhodes home piano on my site ;
I've bought this piano from Mr Harold Rhodes Junior some months ago ;
but I was too busy to do the page earlier.

The plastic bushings in the oval holes on the rear grille are about the same condition as mine. That plastic just crumbles to the touch.

Mine had one "conventional" wrapped hammer tip on the bottom of the high end, I am wondering if that was a replacement.

Did you have to replace the metal faces on the bass and treble knobs? They seem to be missing in the first pic.

Is the namerail black or brown on yours? Mine is a sort of chocolate color. Yours looks quite black in the photos.

Congrats!

is the length of the control rail wood plated or is that a sticker?

I'm sure its the lexan strip similar to the Mark IIs, just a plastic-like sheet of printing

it seems that the higher hammer tips have not been changed ,
and after a close inspection all the parts are originals ,
I think that  this piano has not been played a lot since 1977 ,

the metallic part of   the rail is black and the rhodes name is near gold ,
the volume / treble/bass names are black

I've changed the knobs for new ones ,

otherwise I made the keyboard piedestal modification , but I did not voiced the
harp , it has been by Harold Rhodes himself
