Fender Rhodes Stage Lid Dimensions Diagram

It seems a few people I know are looking for case lids. I'm just in the process of re-tolexing mine so I thought I'd create a diagram with all the dimensions just in case if anyone wanted to try and make one themselves.

As with all Rhodes parts these differ from year to year.

My late 74 has a difference from this.  The smooth diagonal shown here from front to back is not smooth on mine.  Rather it flattens out about 2 inches from the front.

Wow great diagram!  Thanks for this, sometimes it is much easier to build one than try to scour for one.

Just want to remind those of you out there with earlier pianos, around 1971-1973, where they had an angled cut at the keyfront of the case.  This would be a little tougher to build.

Ah thanks for the update lads, I'll amend the diagram to show that it is for a late 1975 Rhodes Stage Piano.

It wasn't me officer, but I went to look at a suitcase for sale one time, and the guy had the lid but it had "melted" after getting wet. It was all floppy.

Keep your lids dry!

hi all Rhodes fan. I have a Stage 73 that alas I have no lid case for. Why previous owners lose or discard these is beyond me?!
Does anyone out there have a plan with the exact dimensions and plan for a Stage 73 lid as I am going to try and make one myself?

The one I am working on is a 1973 Stage Fender Rhodes with the usual "extra angle bend" but it would be great to have a plan for a later 1970s one as well if you have one.
I noticed you have had one previously on the forum but it's been removed.
