A Lot Of Line Noise...

Hey everyone,

I have a Rhodes 73. Whenever I plug it in to a line amp or guitar amp, I need to boost the gain a ridiculous amount to get a usable signal, like around 60 db of gain or so. When the signal is present there is a lot of hiss. This is across all the keys/registers. Any way to make this a bit cleaner?

Yes - get a pre-amp: eg Fatbox from Speakeasy or a Tube Pre-amp from Art or similar.
