Hi everyone.

I'm quite new to the 'wurlitzer world'. I just got a 200a and so far I really love it.

About the phone output. It's mono and I just got some stereo headphones. How do I solve this problem? Is it possible with an adapter like this one?

Or what would you suggest me to do?

Thanks :)

The first one should be correct, but DEFINITELY NOT the second one. Basically, what you are trying to do is send a mono signal to both sides of the stereo headphones. This is accomplished by taking a stereo jack, and shorting the mono + wire to BOTH + terminals of the jack. The ground wire just goes to the single ground terminal as usual. Replacing the jack inside the piano is a great way to do this, but not everyone knows how to do it. I believe this adapter will work, the key is that the jack end (female) is stereo and the plug (male )end is mono. Count the black rings on the tip. A mono plug has one black ring and a stereo has two. The rings are insulators between the terminals. You want one ring on this side.if the jack end is also mono, you accomplish nothing- the sound will still just come through the one side.

Mono headphones or stereo phones with a mono switch will also accomplish what you want to do.
