How can I find out the year my MK1 was made?

Hi is there anyway I can find out what year my MK1 was made.?? I,ve tried looking inside but cant find much.

Mine reads 0677

So going by that guide I take it its about Summer Autumn 1977.

The bottom one reads 0973.

0677 would be week 6 of 1977 so half way through Feb 1977

Yes on the "0677" . . . and now for the "0973":

09 -- 9th week of the calendar year
7 -- Calendar year 1977
3 -- 3rd day of week in work
