What devise should i use to get that dry and rocky attack that we hear (for example) on Billy PrestonĀ“s appareance on the Let it be album, I mean, i would like to avoid the bell-sound and that soft attack that sounds so much like a guitar harmonic (i found myself playing too hard to amuse my hears) Am i pretending something implossible for a Rhodes? What about that Major key Harmonic Clarifier?. i use a Fender Princeton amp and no EQ on it gets me there. Thank you guys.

hey!

billy preston was using a fender rhodes suitcase for the let it be album! it was must have been a mark 1a, cos the albuk was done in the late 60'ies!

i love that sound he's got on that record, and i've been trying to emulate it with my 78 mark1 suitcase! one thing ive found is that an EQ and a compressor goes a long way to get a similar sound!

cheers! D
