I went two times and paint it in a garage paint . Very cool result.

If the harp cover is vacuum formed abs as used in the MkI or MkII then you can paint it using automotive acrylic spray paint cans such as you'd get from an auto DIY shop. Use fine steel wool to gently rub down the surface of the plastic. Wash it with hot water and dish-washing detergent. Wash off all the residue. Spray it on a fine dry day with the air temperature above 20 C.
The same process will work for a smooth fibreglass cover but you can prepare it with 400-600 emery paper on a cork block.

Hi - I sprayed mine purple metallic... have a look:

More pics here: http://spradbery.com/blog/?page_id=104

I sanded it down using the following grit papers (from memory): 80, 120, 180, 240, 380, 600, 1200, 2000
To spray it I used Plastikote (UK paint), started with their primer (2 coats, wet sanded down to 2000 grit), then purple (3 coats, 2000 grit between), then the metallic-specific lacquer / finish (3 coats, 2000 grit wet sand between).

I hope you like it... I'm really pleased with it!  The Plastikote satin black would probably be a close match to the original black, but you won't have the original texture.
