major key harmonic clarifier MKHC-1
« on: July 20, 2012, 11:07:03 AM »
now i have on my rhodes mk2 seventy three the harmonic clarifier MKHC-1. the result of the sound's processing is very very "dyno my piano proamp" and the active electronic volume is very high level.
better and better!

I like it, both dry and with the chorus effect.

thanks Dan Belcher and Abraham. i bought this MKHC-1 in italy, rome were i live and they sell just only the harmonic clarifier, but this preamp was made for rhodes mk1 and so you don't have to modify your faceplate.
take care

Does anyone have access to this effects unit?
I'm trying to find the colour code / resistance value for R17, power supply input resistor...
I suppose it doubles as a current limiter and fuse...I have a unit on the bench which did exactly what it was supposed to do (I hope), but it is so charred I cannot get a value off it.

R17 is on the rear/bass corner of the board, just by the red battery wire.

Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers!!

Hi .-)

According to the Clarifier schematic, R 17 should be 10 ohms...
