Hello, I saw below, that guy from other topic tries to steal my conception- not so fast :P
I'm a Pole, so in the beginning I'm sorry about some language mistakes.

Basically i'm a guitarist (and homegrown guitar maker) but i'm building a conceptional 40 note electric piano since last year using the parts from hardware store or trash- stuff which I can get easily and cheap, because I don't have much cash to buy a real Wurli/Rhodes or anything else.
I'll put here some photos and few words about it, and if you will be interested- I'll wrote a complex article about my piano.

In brief: I was reading much about constructions of electric pianos, watching VintageVibe videos- it's all i've got, i've never even played on any electric piano.
Absolutely every part is made only by me (Except some parts of the keyboard, which are from an old polish combo organ), hammers, pickups, reeds, everything is homemade and looks ugly, but it works quite well ;)

Here's a short sound sample, when i was recording this only 5 pickups were mounted, still without dampers:

So nobody will tell me that this ugly stuff can't can't play ;)
And a film (i was hitting in the keys like a monkey, sorry), with a few pickups (mess in the wiring is to make pickups easy removeable, it's a test soldering, ive already mounted, soldered and tested 20 pickups)

And few photos from my workplace:

Wiring mess:

If you'll be interested- i'll try to explain everything.

I have a some extra parts that I would be willing part with for your project. What do you need?

Thaks for your answers :) To end this piano i will need something about mont/ max two propably.

@Peter- to this project for now i don't need anything, but I already know that won't be my last piano and some parts will be always ok. I would take everything, which is quite complete, but now I don't have any cash to buy it from you (and to cover the costs of shipping to Poland, but it's the smallest problem to solve). Which parts of Rhodes/Wurli/Clavinet (i'm thinking about making a copy of Clavinet in future) do you have, and how much would you want for them?

Peter Hayes

I've got hammers, dampers, damper rails, a few key beds, lots of used case hardware and other stuff. These are parts that are collecting dust and there would be no charge for them. Getting them to you would be the hard part.

Peter, I'll try to get know from my nationals, who were shipping some stuff from USA  how to solve this shipping problem. I'll write to you immediately when I'll know something. I would take from you every rubbish ;) Have you got some useless tines/tone bars too?

Una-persona, when i'll get to home (I'm writing from my girlfriend's computer :)  i'll put for you some photos in this topic, which will show how i was doing the pickups.
