Wah of choice for a Clavinet?

I have a D6 Calvinet.
I've been looking to get a wah pedal, but I'm not sure which one I'm going to purchase.
Does anyone have suggestions, or care to state their preference.
I guess I'd be looking for a wah pedal that has the widest vocal range, no?
I'm hoping to buy something used, and save money.
I'd appreciate any thoughts.

I tried my vintage Vox wah on clavinet, but it didn't really work all that well on the bottom end. I did just get a Morley Power Fuzz Wah (one of the old chrome ones) and it sounds great for bass, but still has a lot of high end. haven't tried it on clav yet though. I'll check it out tomorrow and get back to you.

I modded a Cry Baby, and I also use a modern Morley Power Wah. I kind of lean toward the power wah, but I would like to tune the filter some (which is what I did on the cry baby).

I was looking on this board for a post about what the mod was, but I am not finding it. Pretty sure I did the standard vocal mod as described here:

Replace the 33K resistor in parallel with the inductor with a 68K. This gives a more vocal quality to the wah.

I use an old Crybaby that I am quite happy with.
I also have a Budda wah which looks pretty but just does not sound as good.

I have heard good things about the Custom Audio Electronics MC404 (http://www.jimdunlop.com/product/mc404-cae-wah) which may be worth checking out if you are looking for something new.

Well, I went with a Cry Baby that I found on ebay.  It was $40 with free shipping, and it's already got, among other things, the Fasel mod.  Should have it in few days.

On another note, I've decided to have my Clavinet legs powder coated.  Taking them in tomorrow.  It's only $75 for the four of them, which considering the cost of new legs, seems more than reasonable.

Going with black, though it just occurs to me that white could look cool...  This is for home/studio use, so something with a little more style might be nice.

Any thoughts?

What was your impression of the crybaby? I ordered the 535q, and I have yet to receive either the clav or the wah, so I'm just twiddling my thumbs in the meantime.

Wahs with a fasel inductor sound great on clav. Also love the fender fuzz wah.

For me the Vox wah has "wetter" sound in general compared to the crybabies. They also get realllly harsh in the front treble range so I can see that  being really hard to control with a Clav. The combination of the trebled out pickups on the Clav plus a Vox wah might blow your ears out at certain frequencies.

I can confirm that the stock Vox 847A has some really sharp, harsh highs. A friend of mine has one, and I borrowed it to mess around with one day. Way too sharp on instruments with a lot of highs that don't sound good when "piercing".

The 535q is awesome on the D6.
