Frankenstein Contempo!

Hi everyone, it's been a long time since I've been here. I posted pics a few years ago of my Fender Contempo with a very strange mod on the lid. They seem to be tuning knobs for each key. You can see the original thread I started here: http://ep-forum.com/smf/index.php?topic=4495.msg21724#msg21724

I finally got the lid off this weekend. It seems very excessive for a "mod"...

Date code inside is October 13, 1969

I filmed a video and tried explaining things the best I could. I have no experience with the innards of these things other than basic tuning and cleaning.. I'm not quite sure what to do with this beast haha!

I don't think it devalues the organ at all.

In fact, if you can prove that Dr. Frankenstein (or Marty Feldman) actually played this organ, I will buy it!

At least the mod appears to be done fairly well. The ability to switch between modified tuning and unmodified tuning for each key with the switches is interesting.
