Wurlitzer 200 no sound from reed bar

Have an original Wurly 200 (no separate preamp board) with no sound from the reed bar.  The amp tests good by injecting signal into it, and I can get good snaps and pops by touching the reed bar, but nothing when playing the keys. The reed bar pickup is showing about 130V DC.  Any ideas what might be going on here?

My guess is that the reed bar is grounding out at a certain point to a reed or some other conductive piece. Check the resistance from the reed bar to ground and see if that's the point of focus.

Did you recently install one of the reproduction reed bar shields by any chance? I psyched myself out recently when one of the screw/clips adjoining the pickup pieces accidentally was touching the reed bar shield.

Thanks Max.  That was my first thought too, however reed bar is showing about 4 megohms to ground ... am assuming that's normal. There are no shields installed, piano is totally stock.  Still baffled!
