Someone's familiar with this kind of modification ?

From the seller's page :
"This is a mod we do on every Wurlitzer,This will give your keys a better piano feel, solves small errors in the mechanics and you will have much better control on the dynamics."

Never seen it before, might worth the try ... :)

I am super interested in this as well. Position, size... I always come across the problem with the hammers returning faster than the keys do, since Steveo brought it to my attention, giving those dead hits every couple of hits. Seems weights are the fix to that. These ones look like the Jiffy ones that Howard Piano Industries sells but cut in half.

Those indeed are jiffy weights cut in half. They are mounted way too close to the end of the key. Also, if you only have one screw to mount them, they are likely to move unless a drop of glue is used. The screw(s) must be super tight or else they will rattle.

Remember, these weights  make the action lighter, not heavier.

These should be mounted so that the whip can not hit it when falling back down.

I actually put these to my rhodes 54 (with the back check kit). I haven't decided yet whether I'll keep them or loose them. They feel little faster now, but the stop position feels little bouncy.
