Tolex parts layout pic for Rhodes 54

Hi,

I'm working on retolexing my 54 and I thought I'd share a tolex parts layout pic. All the parts of 54 will quite easily fit in 3 yards (275cm). The measurement tape is stopped at 275cm, so even 260cm might be enough. Just make no mistakes!

EDIT: actually two of those sides in that pic are upside down. It'll still fit.

These appear to be the original pieces removed from the piano, no?  How did you remove them without tearing the pieces, a heat gun perhaps?  Wondering...

Yes, original pieces. Only tool was this:

It came off quite easily, you could even get job done only by hand. If someone have retolexed the case using super glue etc it's going to be a diffrent story..

Thanks! I'm pretty happy with the tolex, my first try! Next thing would be to doing something for the lid. Shiny white would be nice. I think I'm going to leave the paint job for the professional and not trying to do that myself. Black would be easier, I think..
