They look great, really professional. How did you get the suitcase pre to fit round the harp supports on the piano bass? And how did you adapt the damper rail to fit?

And any chance of some sound samples of the pre piano?

About the pre-amp clearance, I had to cut the harp support back about 1 1/2" (though I don't have a tape on me right now). Problem was, you know the '79's thick aluminum harp support, coupled with my impatience...I'll say it was a grueling task with a hacksaw! The damper bar was tricky...you cannot use the provided holes for damper's fulcrum point due to case depth, but the new drillings will overlap the originals. Also, you have to modify the wood dowel. This whole deal is probably easier with the older models, but, you work with what you got.
  I will DEFINITELY record the PrePiano, but it may take awhile...I still need to filter out a lot of noise to get a good sounding recording...
