UnboundedSky

Hey everybody, I've been reading the forum for about a year, but never posted until now. My name's Bill Graham, and I lead and play keys in an Electric Jazz group called Unbounded Sky.  We've been compared to In A Silent Way period Miles, Steely Dan, and Frank Zappa.  I thought that some of you might dig some of the stuff, so I figured I'd post on here that our new album is done.  Heres an MP3 of the title tune, "Desolation Blues," if anybody's interested.

feedback is very welcome.

Very good listen, Rhodes sounds great  8)

Very nice indeed. I also listened to the other track, which I can't decide if I like more! I really like your sound, but I think you could benifit from a dedicated producer (like part of the band...?) for as much a creative view as a technical one. I think your sound would benifit massibly from being tightened up around the edges, the drums need some sparkle and more ooph to bring that ever so needed rhythm that the track calls out for. Oh that rhythm is there, it just needs to make itself known. A good example, for an overall technical sound (that I could find was close to your sound) would be The Egg..... Do you know them? Well if you do, it's a good sound/mix to go by... Good work!!!

LIGHT touches of Hatfield & North and Egg, interesting. Would like to hear more progressive developments!
