I've never seen silicone on tone bar springs, grommets or screws.

I just watched the video from your link and there was no mention of silicone dabs or even dampers in it.it was more about grommets.

We make those things! And although we sometimes get materials from schaff we actually bond the two different felts in house and cut them in house. Let me know if you guys have any questions.
