Mark I Suitcase without Speaker/Pedal. Should I buy?

There's a guy selling a Mark I suitcase without the speaker cabinet or pedal. This also means that there is no way to check out if the preamp works...

Its only $400. From what I read here and what he said, you can use it like a stage by simply using an 1/8in cable from the rhodes accessory 1 input to an amp.
I know that I could buy one of those power supplies on vintage vibe for like $200 so I could use the preamp and the various effects on it.
Here are some pics:

Is it worth it? I was hoping I wouldn't have to deal with repairing any more keyboards...

If you're in the US there are probably better deals.
If you're elsewhere in the world and your comfort with the price is that it's "only $400" - go for it.
You can run a lead straight from the harp and bypass the pre-amp.

I'd borrow one of those VV powers before buying and test the preamp. If it didn't work, you could get a discount and fixing the preamp is pretty easy if you know anything about electronics.

How likely is it that I would happen to come across a Satellite speaker cabinet with the 5 pin?

I came across one today, but sadly instead of the 5 pin input which I have seen on most pics online of this thing, it had a 1/4" input.
Such as this one right here:

This shop had just the master cabinet for a decent price. I was thinking of getting it if I get a Rhodes.

Couple of problems with this is that this Satellite amp actually has a 4 pin connection not 5. They can only be used with the earlier Peterson preamps (the one with 3 concentric knobs, not sliders) and also there's a voltage difference between the two different preamps so unfortunately you couldn't use it with the piano above.

As the piano you're looking at has a Haigler preamp (one with sliders) you could use a Janus satellite amp if you were to find one.

Just noticed you'd mentioned about the 1/4 jack. Has it been modded at all? It sounds more like the slave amp if there is no 4 pin din and it doesn't appear to have been tampered.

That's not the actual cabinet I was looking at, but it had the same outputs on the side. I have a pic of the front of the cabinet I looked at:

It was actually modded. The guy who used to own it used it as a guitar cabinet. The shop owner actually opened up the inside of the cabinet for me and it looked like what the guy did is bypass the amp of the thing.

So if you take a look at this pic:

That black and white wire that goes from the speakers to the bottom now goes to the side panel, and instead of the input being a 4 or 5 pin it is a 1/4in. Could I just rewire this thing and add a 5 pin female socket?
