Awesome solo by Takehiro Honda!
« on: September 02, 2015, 01:43:26 AM »
Takehiro Honda on Fender Rhodes, with his band "Native Son" (Kohsuke Mine on sax, Tamio Kawabata on bass, Hiroshi Murakami on drums, among others).

The piece is called "Animal Market", and it's from the album "Savanna Hot-Line", released in 1979.
The solo starts at approx. 5:22, but the whole piece is first class 70ies jazz funk. Enjoy!

And one more from the same album, it's the composition "In Search of Beauty". The soothing, relaxing, simply stunning Rhodes solo by Honda starts around 4:06.

Have fun and feel free to comment! I'd love to hear from other fans of Takehiro Honda or Japanese Jazz Funk in general!
