Protek + Naphtha for Wurlitzer whips?

Hello... lots of reading, lots of learning.  Regarding "unsticking" the action in the Wurlitzer 200 whip assemblies I see a lot of references to a Naphtha/Silicone Oil (8 to 1) mixture and other references to using Protek instead of the silicone oil.  So am I correct in assuming that doing the 8 to 1 mixture with Naphtha and Protek should work fine or am I missing something?
