Hi,

I'm restoring my 50$ wurlitzer 200A, not so bad shape. But it miss the Upper hum shield..

I'm wondering if there's someone with generosity that could give me the overall dimensions and thickness of the Hum shield on the Wurlitzer 200A, i'm trying to do it DIY.

Thanks,

Xavier

I could send it to you tonight.  I have it modeled up but can throw some dimensions on it. It's not rocket surgery or anything.

Wow thanks!

I just send you a PM before seeing your reply! ;P

I have a handful of these for way less than what it is worth to DIY it... An original shield is a way better option than DIY bent sheet metal... Just shoot me an email.

Right now I have about a half dozen of each mounting footprint.

Thanks to Cinnamon for sending me is 3D model of the Hum Shield, i was able to do a 1:1 unfold print, get a 1/16" sheet metal for free.
next step is to cut it, then bend it. I will also sandblast and maybe zinc or chrome plate or spray some kind of anti corrosion paint.

For now, i'm at 0$ spent ;P

Hi,
i resume this topic (i think that there's no need to open another similar).
I could made my upper hum shield (my 200A "lost" its), but i need some advice about thickness and dimension. Could anyone help me?

At the moment, for example, i could find 1mm or 2mm sheet metal. 1mm is too thin?
If Cinnamon still has the measures  ::)

Thanks in each case !!

Hello, i'm Alex, 33yo french musicien. I bought an incomplete 200. Several parts are missing. I try to rebuild what i can, especially parts that can't be bought / are not that complicated to rebuild DIY.

As i dont have a complete 200 or relative to measure, i call for help here, as as i saw the great Cinnamon's 3D work and Tehu's DIY humshield rebuild done.

If @Cinnamon, @Tehu or anyone van share with me some measurement suites, i would be great, to begin with the HUMSHIELD dimensions (this topic purpose!)..
