Are the cross braces for 73 and 88 Mk1 stages the same size?

I spotted an 88 Rhodes but which doesn't have the braces and was wondering whether those from a 73 would fit as these seem more widely available. Could someone help me out?

i'm pretty sure they are exactly the same.
cause the legs are the same width apart.
