Hi all,

When using an alternate to the stock legs such as this: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/ZStd/ do you attach your Rhodes in some way or do you just let the weight provide the stability.

IF you do attach it, how do you recommend to do this?

I have not played my Rhodes out but this coming soon!  Thanks in advance.

Seems like the weight is more than enough to keep it stable.  However, you do have the threaded leg brace mounts that would enable you to custom make some kind device to secure the piano the stand, but again, seems wildly unnecessary.

If things are going to get rowdy, I wouldn't trust an unattached stand. But barring any external forces, I agree that the weight of the piano is enough. I use an x-stand while I'm working on mine and they don't move around at all.

I have used this one and have been very happy with stability:

For the same price, I would definitely go with mvanmanen's choice. I have one very similar to the one you looked at (if not the exact one) and I would not trust it with a Rhodes. It's fine for lighter weight keyboards used at home.
