Suitcase Speaker Wiring

I have been trying to determine the proper speaker series/parallel arrangement for my 80 Watt Suitcase.  Is it like this:

Front         Back
|\________/|
|/         ||  \| Right
          ||
|\_____||__/|
|/    ||   ||   \| Left
      ||   ||

or like this?:

Front         Back
|\__      __/|
|/   ||    || \| Right
     ||   ||
|\__||   ||__/|
|/   ||    ||   \| Left
    ||     ||

Ok, that didn't post so well.  I just need to know if the right and left speakers in the front are wired in series or does each one get connected to the separate channel output (as I assume is the case
