Strymon El Capistan & BlueSky

Hey,

I got me some pedals to go with my Mark I. It's actually a suitcase, but I didn't want to drag the speaker along with me anymore, so I plugged a cable into the harp and fed into my FX board. I really like the Strymon pedals, they are pricey, but awesome. The setup is unconventional, but I wanted something I could feed directly into a DI to the FOH to have control of my sound instead of it being delegated to the likings of sm57 infront of my amp.
I was wondering if anyone else uses a similar set up and what you guys thought of it pro/cons etc.
Do you have specific micing requirements when you do gigs with the Rhodes?
Would you suggest other pedals to play around with? Always curious to experiment with sound.

Thanks!
