OUCH!

Even with a 90% discount, that price would still be too high.

For $6700, you can buy (brand new) a Nord Electro 5, a Yamaha P255, a Kurzweil SP6, plus a Korg SV1 - and still have money left over!

Who is this ad going to snare?  I would stop dealing with that music store.

Cue posts about how people got Wurlitzer's for free and for $50  ;)

That is absolutely crazy, even a totally restored one from VV is probably cheaper than that.

Okay... I got a Wurli 206 for three hundred bucks.  Oh yeah, it also came with a D6 Clavinet.
Bought them out of a guy's trunk, ten years ago.  He was moving, needed to unload them etc.
This very year the same guy calls me out of the blue and asks, "Hey do you still have the Wurli and Clav that you were holding for me?"   Had to tell him the bad news.  "No, however I do still have the keys you sold me."  He'd forgotten.
God, I can't believe ten years have gone by so fast.

That's like Minimoog price. :o

But who knows, decades from now that may be the price of a 200A.

Touring name bands still ask for the real thing rather than use a synth for a Wurli.

Here for posterity is the eBay ad:

People are going nuts on ebay, for everything vintage/analog. There is currently a Rhodes (stage model) on sale for 7000$ and I'm willing to bet that the only restoration done was changing the damper felts and voicing the piano. The crazy thing is people buy those items.

There is also a Tascam 388 tape machine on sale for 3000$...nuts.
