Hi guys,

My first post on the forum. I'm currently restoring my 1976 mk1 stage and I think I've caught the restoration project bug! There's someone selling a Mk2 suitcase top near Montreal that's missing the suitcase. They lady is selling it for her father. Neither of them know anything about Rhodes pianos. They were asking 800$ adverstising like it was a steal comparing it to a complete suitcase on reverb going for 1650$ USD. I explained to them that it woukd need a suitcase conversion kit and the usual grommet, damper, key restoration. I'm going to look at it tomorow and told them depending on the condition I could offer 200-300$. They said they would accept 300$. Do you guys think that's a fair price? Appreciate your input.

If the condition inside is alright then $300 is a good deal.

Thanks Tim. I think so too. I don't want to offer too little but at the same time I'm aware of what the cost are to get it fully functional and converted. Cheers!
