Hi all!

Hopefully someone out there can help. I have a client that needs replacement control knobs for his 1962 Piano Bass. He'd be happy with either white or brown knobs.

I know these are as rare as Hen's teeth, but if there are any around, I'm sure you guys would know. So if you have any you wouldn't mind selling, or know of anyone I can get in touch with, that would be amazing.

Thanks
Christian

Waldom WA 1550 Round Pointer Knob

This may fit, he'll need to measure the pot shaft.

0.25" (6.35mm) 1.125" Diameter

If it were me I'd rub off the black marker.

Thanks Tim, I've passed this information on.

Would be great to find some originals though in good nick.

Try Bulgin white knobs, be very careful with the Google search  ;D

They used to produce knobs for radio equipment back in the day and they have a round pointer knob which looks to be an exact match and as it's old stock it looks period correct. Check out past sales on eBay.co.uk to get an idea of them.

I finally found some. These were listed as 60s NOS and appear to be correct. I will have enough to paint a brown set, keep one set white and have a spare.

Thanks! I think these are a 100% match. The are slightly different from the Waldom version and have the flatter base and thinner profile. I'm ecstatic after searching so long.

They just arrived and are definitely the correct stock knobs. These are larger at the base than the waldom or Daka ware knobs. The guy I got them from was able to get these many years ago as a buy out of a dealer's stock. I may have a set or 2 available as I purchased his remaining few knobs this morning.

I ended up with 14 sets plus a spare. I will probably keep a couple for myself snd sell the rest. I'm not sure how much to ask, but these are the correct vintage knobs and not a close enough look alike. I will post in the selling section when I figure it out.
