What is this Maestro Electric Piano??
« on: August 14, 2018, 08:53:11 AM »
I rescued this from my Aunt's home a few years ago, and I am considering selling it, but I can't find any information on it around the internet to figure out where to sell it or how much it might even be worth.

_The placard says Maestro
_The back has a label that says Chicago Musical Instrument Co. - Model 124
_It's not the Maestro 612P for which I have seen some documentation
_It's not in the greatest condition, but it still works

Can anyone help? I've attached some photos for reference. Note the opening at the pedal has cardboard taped over it so my cat can't climb inside.

It reminds me of a chord organ. Do you have pictures of the inside?
Wurlitzer 200a
Wurlitzer 145
Fender Rhodes, now including a Celeste (1966, 1971, 1975)
Hohner Clavinet Pianet Duo
Hohner Clavinet D6s
Hohner Pianet T
Hohner Pianet N
Hammond B3

Attached are the two best photos I could get.

_One is the underside of the front - ignore the cat in the background.

_The other is taken through some slots in the back of it.

Helpful?

That looks like an organ, not an ep. The "gas pedal" volume control is a good indicator. Unfortunately, most organs have little or no value except combo organs and some Hammonds.
What does it sound like?
1960 Wurlitzer model 700 EP
1968 Gibson G101 Combo organ
1975 Rhodes Piano Bass
1979 Wurlitzer 206A EP
1980 Wurlitzer 200A EP
1980 Wurlitzer 270 Butterfly Grand
2000 Yamaha acoustic piano
2004 Hammond XK3
2009 73A Rhodes Mark 7
2009 Korg SV-1 73
....and a few guitars...
